2018 - The Bombay Beach Biennale occurred on the shores of the Salton Sea in California. GRANADA, in collaboration with Avant Mining and Carrie Schmidt, create the "Natural History Museum" for this avant-garde art event.

The display stimulated spectators to ponder the earth's history and the evolution of life, which eventually enables us to comprehend our own fragility as a species, and encourages us to reevaluate our collective actions with respect to our planet. The installation contributed to a collection of creatively reimagined cultural institutions, museums, and venues that dot Bombay Beach. This initiative aims to generate optimism in the small town and rejuvenate the region surrounding the Salton Sea.

The event was established in 2015 to raise awareness about the various environmental and socio-political challenges that have plagued the formerly thriving area for decades.
